A place preceding Singapore's independence, this old shophouse in Dakota Crescent was originally a provision shop, and was transformed into a cafe that serves modern treats while preserving older elements, such as retro furniture and the preference for fans over air-conditioning. Unfortunately in 2016, it was earmarked for redevelopment and like most heritage sites in Singapore, had to go to make way for new developments.
