Details
The Amber Road print by Lee Xin Li features the former Kim Sun Hotel at 40 Amber Road, which later became Amber Hotel in 1988 and subsequently ISA Hotel in recent times. In the background is the "Butterfly House" at 23 Amber Road dating back to 1912, built by Alexander William Cashin and designed by Regent Alfred John Bidwell. The iconic wings of the bungalow were demolished when it was re-developed into The Aristo at Amber condominium complex in 2009.
