Telok Blangah is a historic area in Singapore dating back to the 13th century, linked to Sang Nila Utama’s arrival and once a key port for Bugis traders. Its name means “cooking pot bay” in Malay. Officially named in 1907, the area includes landmarks like 19th-century temples and the 1918 Alkaff Mansion.
