Telok Kurau Road
This road connects Changi Road to Marine Parade Road and was named after a fishing village named Telok Kurau on East Coast Road. According to Infopedia, the name äóÖTelok Kurauäó», means äóÖMango Fish Bayäó» in Malay. Mango fish (Polynemus risua) is in the threadfin family. More commonly, Ikan Kurau is also used to refer to äóÖthreadfinäó», also known as äóÖNgoh Heräó» in Hokkien.
